Everyone was extremely friendly from start to finish.The hotel breakfast was delicious with a surprise dish every morning. The view from the pool area is unbelievable. It doesn’t look real!!! It was a spectacular experience and we will be definitely coming back.

Great location, only 10min walk into Fira but not as busy. Our room (corner level 1) had a great view of the volcano as well as the houses on the hill. Good breakfast with a different sweet each day. Really friendly staff who helped us with everything!

From the welcome to the farewell, the staff at Villa Ilias were perhaps the friendliest and most helpful my wife and I have encountered. The team seems to be made of true locals, running what feels like a family business, with attention to every aspect of serving their clients.

The location of this hotel is amazing where you could have a beautiful view of the Caldera, and also it is a perfect spot to view the famous sunset. The breakfast provided is just fantastic, where each day there's a special dish offered by the hotel.

The breakfasts were really varied with a different additional extra each day. Plenty of top quality food to start your day. The daily newsletter gave visitors useful information about sites to visit including opening/closing times. I would definitely go back again.

The view is the very best in all of Santoríni and trust me we saw the entire island. Their hospitality was close to impeccable and we really enjoyed the pool side service, drinks and food and conversing w/ George, such I kind man who truly enjoy’s making people happy!

The nicest people in the world run this hotel – they go out of their way to make sure you have what you need to enjoy the island. Pool area is a little small, but still very nice - WHAT A VIEW!!! Location is by a major bus stop, and 20 min walking to Fira. The breakfast is delicious!

Everything worked nicely, efficiently and as agreed in this hotel – as we would be in Swiss. The difference is in the hospitability of Greeks (sorry Swiss, you're nice too but...) We really enjoyed the relaxed and caring attitude of the staff, world-class view from the balcony.

What really made the stay special was how friendly and helpful the staff are at Villa Ilias. Georgios and Mary were always there to say good morning and offer advice for something to do that day or directions etc. They give the hotel a really great energy!
