Multiple fire trucks and billows of black smoke could be seen at a Shell off Northside Drive and I-75, close to Diamond Club, an adult entertainment site, for hours.

The elderly couple was killed in 2014. Police found Russell Dermond beheaded inside the garage of their Lake Oconee home. Days later, investigators found Shirley Dermond floating in Lake Oconee with evidence that she’d been tied to cinderblocks and thrown into the water.
